Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of TryMyBuild. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
Who may use TryMyBuild
You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a binding agreement where you live. You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and use your own account.
The service
TryMyBuild helps people publish projects, discover and save other projects, invite testers, exchange feedback, announce builds, and earn community credits. Features may change as the service develops. Credits and project slots are participation privileges inside TryMyBuild; they have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and do not guarantee feedback or promotion.
Your projects and content
You keep ownership of the projects, text, images, videos, feedback, and other content you submit. You give TryMyBuild a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, improve, secure, and promote the service and the public listings you choose to publish. This license ends when your content is deleted, except for backups, legal records, and content others have already shared outside the service.
You promise that you have the rights and permissions needed for what you submit and that your content does not violate another person’s copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark, or other rights.
Respectful participation
Follow the Community Guidelines. Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, deceive, spam, manipulate credits, submit copied or irrelevant feedback, upload malicious code, probe or disrupt the service, scrape it without permission, evade moderation, or use it for unlawful activity. Feedback must meet the displayed length and conduct requirements to qualify for credits.
Moderation and account action
We may review, limit, hide, reject, remove, or preserve content and may suspend or close accounts when reasonably needed to enforce these Terms, protect people or the service, investigate abuse, or comply with law. We may reverse improperly earned credits or project privileges. You may appeal a moderation decision by emailing hello@trymybuild.com, or through Help & contact.
Copyright concerns
If you believe content infringes your copyright, email hello@trymybuild.com or submit a Copyright concern through Help & contact. Identify the protected work, the material and its location, your contact information, your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature. We may remove material and notify the person who submitted it. That person may contact us with a counter-notice.
Third-party projects and services
Projects, links, sign-in tools, video providers, and other third-party services are controlled by their owners. TryMyBuild does not endorse or guarantee them and is not responsible for their content, security, availability, purchases, promises, or privacy practices. Use them based on your own judgment.
Ending use
You may stop using TryMyBuild at any time and may request account deletion through Account & security. We may suspend or end access for a material or repeated violation, legal requirement, security risk, or discontinued service. Provisions that by their nature should continue, including ownership, disclaimers, limits, and dispute terms, survive.
Disclaimers and limits
TryMyBuild is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, particular results, project quality, user identity, feedback volume, sales, or business success.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, TryMyBuild and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Total liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid TryMyBuild during the twelve months before the claim. Some laws do not permit every exclusion, so these limits apply only as far as allowed.
Your responsibility
You agree to defend and indemnify TryMyBuild and its operator from third-party claims arising from your content, your projects, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights, to the extent permitted by law.
Law, changes, and contact
California law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts serving the operator’s California location, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise. We may update these Terms and will post a new effective date. Material changes will receive additional notice when appropriate.
Questions about these Terms can be sent by emailing hello@trymybuild.com, or through Help & contact. Read the Privacy Policy to understand how information is handled.
